Grass paper for damaged hair: Grass clear
The care of damaged and brittle hair requires targeted and long-term attention. Garnier has developed a shampoo that utilises the power of nature to counteract this problem. The shampoo was to be advertised in stores under the slogan "Two for one". But how do you present a natural product in an equally natural sleeve, which should not be made of film as usual? Fixum was faced with this challenge and wanted to prove that as creative technologists they could stand out from other providers of adhesive solutions.

Strong and green: FIXUM presents banderole made of grass paper
To achieve our goal, we have broken new ground: Instead of film, we use a one-sided, fully adhesive die-cut part made of paper to band the shampoo bottles - a more environmentally friendly alternative to shrink film. To further emphasise the idea of nature, we opted for grass paper as the carrier material. The creative technologists at FIXUM had already successfully used and come to appreciate this unusual material. In consultation with the in-house technology laboratory, the company was therefore confident that it could offer the customer the optimum combination of strength, advertising impact and naturalness.
The pattern of the paper and its yellowish colouring not only visually emphasise the naturalness of the product, but also harmonise perfectly with the likewise yellowish conditioner based on royal jelly - a uniform brand image was thus guaranteed.
The self-adhesive coating reinforced the already high strength of the paper, so that both products could be securely attached to each other and yet easily separated again.
With our solution of a banderole made of grass paper for damaged hair, we not only wanted to package the bundle securely, but also convey our ecological concept in an expressive way. At FIXUM, we have once again proven that we stand out from the competition with innovative solutions for a greener future.
